How Things Will Go Empty

** Heading down to ringside, there's a blonde man standing in the middle of the ring with a microphone in his hand. It's easy to tell that he's one of the wrestlers based upon the attire he has on: elbow pads, kneepads, boots, and a pair of white wrestling trunks with the word 'Harvelle' emblazoned across the back. From the way he was standing and looking out at the crowd, he wasn't all that impressed with what he saw. He just stood there in silence with a scowl on his face until the crowd calmed down with their booing. He didn't say a word, yet, they were already booing him. **

JUSTIN HARVELLE: When you all decide to calm yourselves down, I can say what I have to say. You're only wasting your own time....

** That only seemed to infuriate them more. The boos got louder, but, Justin couldn't seem to care less. He feigned a yawn and began to stroll around the ring. He wasn't gonna go anywhere until he said what he needed to say, so, he was just walking along the ropes, more or less. After what seemed like forever, to him, the crowd finally started quieting themselves. **

JUSTIN HARVELLE: Thank you. Now, my name....is Justin Harvelle. As you can tell, I'm one of the newest wrestlers to grace this company. There have been plenty to come before me, but from what I can tell, there hasn't been a single person here that can....'bring it' like me.

** Apparently, the crowd didn't take too kindly to that display of self-confidence. Justin was trying to put it as nicely as he could, but, they couldn't seem to appreciate his efforts all that much. **

JUSTIN HARVELLE: Boo me all you want. It won't change my opinion at all. It didn't take long for me to assess the 'roster situation' when I got here. In about thirty minutes of simply walking around, I came to the conclusion that I'm simply above 97& of the people you've watched in the ring up until. I'm sure you would've started hating me even more, so, I took off that last 3%.

** From what he could tell, the crows was going through the 'new dog in the doghouse' phase by continuously booing him. They didn't like some new person coming in and talking bad about their favorites. Justin only snickered as he continued to make his point. **

JUSTIN HARVELLE: By the time this night is over with, you'll love me just as much as you seem to despise me now. I'm simply telling you the truth you don't want to hear. You all chant and rave over a man that rubs his ass in people's faces for a living. I don't know about you, but, that's not exactly how I want to spend my nights at this place. Is that really the standard here to get applause? Are you gonna like me just because I rub my ass in my opponents' faces? How about I take it a step further? What if I just pin him completely naked? How would you all take to that?

** For him, it was a valid question. He rested against the turnbuckles and tried to gauge the response he would get. If that was the easiest way to the crowd's heart, then, he wouldn't be making that particular trip any time soon. **

JUSTIN HARVELLE: I'd like to think my ass is nice, but, there's no way in hell I would do something like that. But, that only further proves my point. It's about time that somebody raised the standards here. I'm the perfect person to do so. I have a match tonight and nine wrestling coaches out of ten predict me to win it. You can't go wrong with the stats, people. So, just sit back, relax, and enjoy what I have to offer. It'll only get better from here on out. In a few months, I know you'll be on your knees thanking me.

** There's a pretty self-confident smirk on Harvelle's face as he exits the ring with his microphone in hand. From the volume of the boos he got as he was leaving, he most definitely made his impression on the crowd tonight. He didn't need their applause, though. He was, in essence, only out there to please himself with his own voice. They were just the people that got the free show. **
